I'm very happy with Griffin 4045. It's a replacement of the one I had earlier...
The part of the transmitter that plugs into my iPod was damaged from accidentally stepping on it.I've got no complaints.

Griffin 4045 works perfect in less populated areas....very easy to automatically find another empty FM frequency, as I travel from one area to another. In cities, it still exceeded my expectations, even though empty FM frequencies are lacking.

Works Great, especially for the price. Just tune to the 2nd suggested channel and you will avoid the static of the popular channel. Absolutely worth it. Love the scan feature and that it charges your ipod. I used it on busy NJ/NY highways and had no problems.

This product is well worth the price. The SmartScan is a treasure and can save a lot time. The static is minimal if any, especially by keeping the iPod away from the scanner/remote. I purchased this product over a month ago and have found it very pleasing.

Griffin 4045 almost finished the job. I do not live very busy and the station is blocked, even the smallest signal. The sound quality is terrible, very quiet. I get my stereo twice as strong as I would if I had the CD in He claimed that the stations remain open when using a scanner chip. Not worth your time, but they are now.
